SALT - the NGO conceived last year is to support less fortunates. In this time of giving, we reach out to you to be a SALT to the souls in need. There are many who want to help, but they are worried if their hard earned money is properly reaching to the needy. This is exactly why SALT was formed. SALT make sure the proceeds goes to people in need and the homes that are taking care of the needs of kids their first priority. SALT has picked Immanuel Home for the Year 2014 to support and sponsor the homeless kids.
Immanuel Home -(Run by Nazareth Charitable Trust)
Immanuel Home – 22 young children are cared in a rented facility. Girls from age 6 yr old Krena to 20 yrs college going Mageshwari live here. It is run by a Mr.Rajendran & Mrs. Jeya who has dedicated their life to run this home., Mrs.Jeya mentioned that they are trying to build a house on a donated land for these young girls. Pictures of them are posted here. Recent addition is the 6 yr old child that came to this home who lost her mom and dad in an accident last year. It take $15/month to sponsor a child i.e $200/year to provide for a child.(Rs.750/month or Rs.12000/year) Their building needs Rs.5 lacs or $10,000 to complete. Please sponsor a kid or help with the Building fund. Most important please support this home in your prayers for funding & sponsorship. Praise the LORD!
